Mayo Performing Arts Center Customers Reviews
David Sedaris was "Awesome!"
I have read his books, listened to others on cd, so I was familiar with his work and enjoyed him thoroughly...hence, the buying of the tickets. But I did not really know what to expect of him in person. I might have even been a little apprehensive. I believe that in person, David Sedaris was funnier and more entertaining than in any of his books, and that is hard to do! He was quick and clever and down to earth one moment and slap in the face inappropriate the next. My husband and I loved it, and by the sound of the audience, they did too. I will never miss the opportunity to see him, if I get the chance again.
